Discover the Team Selected for the Tour de France

Four days before things get serious in Copenhagen, it’s time for us to present the team we’ve selected for the season’s headline event: the Tour de France.

Peter Sagan

32, 121 wins / Three-time World Champion, seven-time Green Jersey and two-time Monument race winner / 11th Tour de France

Peter is hands-down the superstar of modern cycling. The Slovak sprinter, who has already reached the sport’s highest levels, dreams of flashing a V for victory during the Tour de France and maybe even winning the Green Jersey. He will have several openings during the three-week race to take the lead in the final sprint.

Pierre Latour

28, five wins /Young jersey winner of the 2018 Tour de France, stage winner of the Vuelta and two-time French ITT Champion / 5th Tour de France

Pierre is the team leader in the mountains for this year’s Tour de France. His motivation will be his greatest strength for taking home a stage victory as he did in the Vuelta. He will be able to count on his teammates for support in this quest.

Anthony Turgis

28, six wins / 2nd in this season’s Milan-San Remo, 4th in the 2020 Tour des Flandres / 5th Tour de France

Our all-rounder has been a key part of the team for several seasons. Always well-positioned, he will be able to leverage his ability to clock up the kilometers and his bursts of speed to battle for a first stage victory in a Grand Tour.

Alexis Vuillermoz

34, nine wins / Stage winner in the 2015 Tour de France, stage winner and Yellow Jersey during this year’s Critérium du Dauphiné / 8th Tour de France

Pikachu is back for this year’s Tour de France! In top form since the beginning of the season, he intends to tap into the positive momentum to make a statement as he did in 2015 in Mûr-de-Bretagne.

Daniel Oss

35, two wins / Participant in 36 Monument and 14 Grand Tour races, two-time TTT winner in 2014 and 2015 / 10th Tour de France

The entire team will benefit from the experience of a cyclist who has been with Peter Sagan since he began. Always ready to help his teammates, Daniel is a tireless rider ready to give his all to help the leaders win.

Edvald Boasson-Hagen

35, 81 wins / Three-time stage winner of the Tour de France, four-time stage winner of the Critérium du Dauphiné / 12th Tour de France

Edvald has one of the best records in the pack and has already won three stages during the Tour de France. The Norwegian is a rider the team can count on when the going gets tough and the final rush begins.

Maciej Bodnar

37, 11 wins / Eight-time Polish ITT champion, ITT winner in the 20th stage of the 2017 Tour de France / 7th Tour de France

Maciej is a force of nature. An ITT and solitary breakaway specialist, he is able to replace his teammates at the front of the pack at any point in the race. He will have an important role to play when the sprinters are in the spotlight.

Mathieu Burgaudeau

23, one win / Stage winner of this year’s Paris-Nice / 2nd Tour de France

Mathieu is the youngest member of the team and a home-grown talent. An alumnus of CREF Cyclisme des Pays de la Loire and Vendée U, he will take a well-earned place in his second Tour de France. Mathieu already won a stage during this year’s Paris-Nice has every reason to shine during the Tour de France.
