Niccolò Bonifazio on his last race with TotalEnergies

The Italian sprinter Niccolò Bonifazio completed his last race in the TotalEnergies colors yesterday. He will officially leave the Vendée team at the end of the season.

Thank you to my team-mates and the staff

Yesterday evening, after the Omloop van het Houtland, Niccolò posted a thank-you message on social media:

“Hi everyone! Today was my last race with Team TotalEnergies. I have been very happy to spend four years here, during which I claimed eleven wins and many top finishes. Thank you to my team-mates and the staff for sharing over 200 races with me. I am also grateful to the fans on the French roads for cheering me on!”

A rider who made his mark

Niccolò Bonifazio joined the Team in 2019, where he made his mark on Jean-René Bernaudeau’s line-up. His explosive performances and his panache earned him some notable wins: 11 in total, including the fifth stage of Paris-Nice in 2020. He also experienced the magic of the Tour de France, taking part on two occasions (2019 and 2020).

The lad from Coni has yet to say where he is going next, but Team TotalEnergies wishes him every success in the next stage of his career.
