It is with great conviction and enthusiasm that the Team TotalEnergies has made its team for the coming season official. The Team has now been finalised and 26 riders will be wearing our colours in 2025.
Eight new recruits for the coming season
Eight riders have joined the team for the next season. Two of them are already very familiar with the team, having been in the backroom squad of the Vendée U Pays de la Loire in recent years. Our two trainees at the end of the season, Rayan Boulahoite and Nicola Marcerou, will discover the professional world. Talking of duo, Alexandre Delettre and Joris Delbove will also be joining the team after more than convincing experiences with Saint Michel – Mavic – Auber 93. With Valentin Retailleau (ex. Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale), Florian Dauphin (ex. Arkéa – B&B Hotels) and Alexys Brunel, the Team has also been strengthened with three versatile riders who are full of determination. Finally, the recruitment of Samuel Leroux (ex. Van Rysel – Roubaix) will allow the Team to count on an experienced rider with excellent qualities as a rouleur.
A group with enduring values
The revelations of the 2024 season, Thomas Gachignard, Emilien Jeannière and Jordan Jegat have extended their contracts until 2026. Three riders who made the most of their qualities during the last season. This decision was also shared by the Team and Jason Tesson, Lorrenzo Manzin and Mattéo Vercher, who will remain in our ranks for the next two seasons. Alan Jousseaume, Fabien Doubey, Geoffrey Soupe, Thomas Bonnet and Sandy Dujardin have also all extended their contracts and will all be part of the 2025 adventure. Steff Cras, our leader during the last Tour de France, will start his third season with the Team.
Five departures
Five of the riders will no longer be with the Team at the end of 2024. As announced at the start of the season, Julien Simon and Alexis Vuillermoz are retiring. The whole Team congratulates them on their respective careers and their contribution to the Vendée team over the last few years. Valentin Ferron and Paul Ourselin, two riders trained at the Vendée U Pays de la Loire, will no longer be part of the structure in 2025, as will Dries Van Gestel. The whole team wishes them all the best for the future and thanks them for their commitment and professionalism.
