French Road Championships / Road Race

Held on a 16.3-km circuit to be completed 14 times, preceded by an initial 13.6-km loop (for a total of 241.8 km / 3,411 m of elevation gain), this UCI CN national race features a demanding and grueling course. The course features two major climbs: the Saint-Roch climb (1.7 km at 4.4%) and, above all, the Beauj climb (1 km at 8.4%), which sets the pace for each lap. The repeated effort and cumulative elevation gain favor well-rounded riders capable of withstanding the wear and tear and sustaining high intensity.
