Rayan Boulahoite is the first recruit of the Team!

After two years at Vendée U Pays de la Loire, Rayan is moving up to the next level.

After just a few races with the professionals as a trainee, the 20-year-old has joined the Team TotalEnergies for the next two seasons.

A stage winner in the Tour of Morocco, the Tour du Pays du Roumois and a stage winner in the Estivale Bretonne, Rayan made the Vendée U jersey shine before trying his hand in the professional world.

In his first race as a trainee (La Polynomande), he did a lot of work for the team and managed to finish 37th. However, it was his strong performance on the first stage of the Tour du Limousin that really brought him into the public eye. At the front for much of the stage, he managed to take the best climber jersey after leading several times over the various climbs. The following day, however, was a different story, as he retired after crashing (see below).

Although he will be absent from racing until the end of the season, there is no doubt that Rayan will come back even stronger in 2025, this time in his new colours, those of Team TotalEnergies.

” I’m proud to be joining the professional team, and I’d like to thank the management for the confidence they’ve shown in me. It’s the result of a lot of hard work and a lot of sacrifice. I didn’t do it alone, I’d like to thank all the Vendée U and TotalEnergies staff, my friends, my training clubs (La Roue d’Or Conflanaise, Team 94 Cycling, Argenteuil Val de Seine Cyclisme) but above all my family.
I’m joining a new world, and I’m ready to get back to work as soon as possible to help the team! “

Welcome Rayan!
