Two stage races will give Team TotalEnergies the opportunity to compete on two fronts across Europe, from tomorrow through Sunday.
First up in Norway, where the team will line up for the tenth time in the history of the Arctic Race of Norway. Four stages through the fjords, on unusual roads that should suit both the sprinters and the puncheur-climbers as the weekend approaches.
Cyril Lemoine will lead an experienced squad built around Jason Tesson and Joris Delbove, who will return to competition after the Tour de France.

L’Arctic Race of Norway est une course atypique de notre calendrier. Je l’ai disputée à trois reprises en tant que coureur et son tracé est différent de celui de nos courses habituelles. Nous parcourrons les îles du nord du pays avec une motivation commune.
Jason Tesson, accompagné de Lorrenzo Manzin, compte briller sur les étapes propices aux sprints.
Le week-end devrait davantage convenir aux profils de grimpeurs. Nous avons un collectif compétitif pour aller chercher un bon classement général, avec Joris, Thomas Bonnet et Thomas Gachignard.
At the same time, another part of the team will discover the Czech Republic, with two new faces in the squad: Paul Conor and Evan Pavis, two of the three stagiaires joining the Team from Vendée U – Primeo Energie.
The profile of the four stages leaves little doubt: the climbers should have the advantage. Jordan Jegat and Nicolas Breuillard, returning after a strong Tour de France, will be looking to build on that momentum and fight for victory in this new addition to the Team’s calendar.
Le Tour de République Tchèque est une nouvelle course au calendrier Pro Series. L’équipe s’y rend pour la première fois, avec des ambitions sur cette épreuve de quatre étapes favorables aux grimpeurs.
C’est notre reprise post-Tour avec Jordan, donc on espère pouvoir insuffler cette bonne dynamique jusqu’à la fin de la saison.
Nous aurons également l’occasion de découvrir Evan et Paul, deux de nos stagiaires, qui vont découvrir le monde professionnel à nos côtés.
On pourra évidemment compter sur le soutien de Nicola, Fabien et Geoffrey, qui auront eux aussi un rôle important à jouer. On est motivés pour réaliser une belle fin de semaine ! – Nicolas Breuillard.
