Team TotalEnergies is pleased to announce the appointment of Cyril Lemoine as Sports Director. Cyril joins Team TotalEnergies following an exceptional career marked by 18 seasons at the highest level of professional cycling.

« Moineau » is a well-known and highly regarded figure in the cycling community. He has demonstrated consistent performance, humility, and professionalism throughout his career. His professional conduct aligns perfectly with the values of Team TotalEnergies, which include dedication, solidarity, and hard work.
Cyril contributes not only his experience and knowledge, but also a fresh perspective on contemporary issues to our field. The former road captain discusses his decision to retire from racing and the factors that influenced his recent choice: « I took some time for myself at the end of my career as a rider, even though I had already set my sights on becoming a Sports Director. This interlude convinced me that my adventure with top-level sport was not over. I obviously knew the team from the outside, but I also had a few contacts within the structure. So, of course, the first interviews only confirmed my choice.
With this first training camp in Spain, we entered a more tangible phase. I am testing my principles in the field by treating the riders with goodwill and maintaining constant communication while expecting the same level of commitment from them. So far, so good. I am looking forward to my first races. »
A perfect fit with the existing team
Cyril Lemoine’s arrival strengthens an already well-established team consisting of Romain Sicard, Dominique Arnould, Lylian Lebreton and Thibaut Macé, headed by Benoît Genauzeau. His distinctive background, shaped by years of racing at the highest level, will optimally align with the existing expertise within the sports management team.
