A UCI 2.2 stage race, the Tour of Mentougou takes place in the mountainous Mentougou District, west of Beijing, best known as the home of Mount Lingshan. The region’s terrain offers naturally rugged terrain, favoring riders who excel on climbs. Over the course of three days of racing, climbers and all-around riders capable of sustaining repeated efforts should find the terrain particularly well-suited to their strengths.
