Paris-Tours

Paris-Tours is a French cycling race created in 1896 classified in category 1.HC. in the UCI Europe Tour. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious races on the professional calendar. Usually taking place in autumn, it shares with the Tour of Lombardy the nickname of “Classic of the dead leaves”. Its relatively flat and open profile makes it very popular with sprinters, but many punchers and adventurers have also imposed themselves there. Niki Terpstra (Quickstep-Floors at the time) finished second in 2018 and 2019, on a more complicated circuit with the addition of 9 vineyard paths.
