La Flèche Wallonne

La Flèche wallonne is a one-day cycling race, a classic, taking place in Belgium (Walloon Region) in the spring. This race has been on the UCI World Tour calendar since 2011. Currently, the route starts in Ans, passes through the center of Andenne, to arrive in Huy, where the Mur de Huy is located, this steep 1.2 km climb with impressive percentages, bordering on 22% in the most difficult corner, and which often gives rise to spectacular finishes. The Wall is climbed three times during the event, the first two ascents very often having no influence on the race. This race reserved for punchers has often smiled on the Spaniard Alejandro Valverde who is the most successful with five victories including four in a row.
