Paris - Tours

For the 117th edition of Paris-Tours, which will take place on Sunday October 8 over 213.9 kilometres from Chartres (Eure-et-Loire), Arnaud Démare will be appearing as the two-time title holder, this time in the Arkéa-Samsic jersey that he has been wearing since August. Expected to be his number 1 rival, Christophe Laporte will also be wearing a new jersey, the star-spangled one he won at the European championships.

The vineyard roads, which total 10 kilometres and are mainly concentrated in the last 50 kilometres, provide uncertainty as to the scenario of the race. In the sprint or on long attacks, there are plenty of candidates to disrupt the Franco-French duel: Arnaud De Lie, Kaden Groves, Magnus Kort, Tobias Johannessen, Jordi Meeus, Matteo Trentin, Edward Theuns, John Degenkolb, and so on.
