TotalEnergies and SA Vendée Cyclisme Announce the Expiration of their Partnership
at the End of 2026.
After seven intense, rewarding seasons, TotalEnergies and SA Vendée Cyclisme, which
backs Team TotalEnergies, are announcing the expiration of their partnership at the end of 2026, by mutual agreement.
The partnership began in 2019, following three seasons under the colors of Direct Energie, a company that had become part of TotalEnergies in the interim.
During this fruitful ten-year partnership, which saw over 130 victories, Team TotalEnergies
achieved some of the most impressive milestones since the team was set up by Jean-René
Bernaudeau in 2000. Wins at the highest international level, an incubator for exceptional talent, the arrival of some of the most impressive riders in the global peloton, and the establishment of a technical team dedicated to excellence and lasting performance. Over and above the results, it was a culture of heritage, daring and hard work that emerged, driven by a collective remarkable for its respect and loyalty.
As the headline partner, TotalEnergies supported the ambitions of SA Vendée Cyclisme, as
its General Manager Jean-René Bernaudeau testifies: “We are grateful to TotalEnergies for its confidence for all these years. I will never forget our shared experiences and the wonderful people I’ve met. Ever since the Team’s very first races with Direct Energie, and until the end of next season, we will have had a reliable, committed partner at our side. The final weeks of 2025 and next year are going to be very exciting for the Team. Everyone is focused on those events. Naturally, I am already looking ahead to 2027 and I am determined to keep the Team going. Our singularity, our values, our policy of education and training, and our sports development pathway are serious assets in persuading brands to embark on this adventure with us.
