TotalEnergies and the Team: seven years of passion, one last season to make history.
After seven remarkably intense and rewarding seasons, TotalEnergies and SA Vendée Cyclisme have mutually agreed to end their partnership at the end of the 2026 season. This partnership began in 2019, following on from three seasons already spent under the colors of Direct Energie, a company that has since been integrated into TotalEnergies.
With more than 130 victories to its name, Team TotalEnergies has achieved some of the most memorable milestones since the sports team was created by Jean-René Bernaudeau in 2000: victories at the highest international level, a talent pool, the arrival of some of the most prestigious riders in the world peloton, and the consolidation of a technical team focused on excellence and sustainable performance. Beyond the results, a culture of heritage, audacity, and hard work has taken hold, driven by a collective spirit guided by solidarity and respect.
The 2025 season perfectly illustrated these ambitions: 13 victories and 65 podium finishes, driven by remarkable performances and promising riders.
For 2026, the team is relying on “a roster structured around a solid core of riders who have delivered great results. Recruitment is continuing in this vein, with profiles united by strong human values (…)” (Benoît Génauzeau).
The year 2026 also marks TotalEnergies’ final season alongside the Team. A year to write the last page of this story and continue to uphold the values that unite us.
