A 2.1 stage race in the Asturias region, the Vuelta Asturias celebrates its 100th edition this year. The course is mainly geared towards climbers, with high altitude passes and summits. Hardened climbers and puncheurs, capable of mountainous efforts, will find here a terrain conducive to their qualities.
