Team TotalEnergies welcomes three stagiaires

The French Championships once again provided a perfect illustration of the bridge linking Vendée U – Primeo Energie to Team TotalEnergies. Over a weekend in the Vals du Dauphiné, amateurs and professionals met on the same roads, wearing the same colours and sharing the same ambition.

Vendée U – Primeo Energie has always aimed to prepare tomorrow’s talents and guide them toward the highest level. A strong symbol of this ongoing transmission between development and professional cycling.

As every season, three riders from the development team take another step across the bridge to the professional ranks. This year again, these “stagiaires” will have the opportunity to experience the highest level by taking part in several races under the colours of the Team TotalEnergies, alongside their senior teammates.

At the end of a particularly successful first part of the season for Vendée U – Primeo Energie, it was not easy to select three names from such a cohesive, united and high-performing group.

The final selection fell on Paul Conor, Evan Pavis, and Théo Hébert. They will join the professional squad from August onwards.

Paul Conor – Born 22.12.03

A former rider of UC Cholet 49, Paul is a rider who has climbed the ranks with patience and determination. Like some of his predecessors, he perfectly embodies the philosophy of our development structure: champions are built over time.
Regularly in contention since the start of the season with several second-place finishes, he finally claimed his first victory six days ago at the Flèche Bigoudène, rewarding his perseverance.

Théo Hebert – Born 13.11.03

Théo has a very atypical background. He was, this winter, the final recruit of the squad.
He quickly established himself as one of the team leaders from the very first races in the Basque Country. His overall victory, as well as his win on the queen stage of the Circuit des Ardennes, rewarded both his talent and his exemplary mindset.

Evan Pavis – Born 03.01.05

Evan perfectly embodies quiet strength. Originally from Mayenne and from a farming family, he grew up with strong values of respect, hard work and perseverance.
Always focused on the team, he has established himself as a model teammate, capable of putting his qualities at the service of the collective.
In his second season within the structure, he took a step forward by securing a prestigious victory at the Route Bretonne in Saint-Avé, one of the reference races on the amateur calendar.
