Mathis, Pierre and Thibault Complete Team TotalEnergies’ Roster

In a unique context, Mathis Le Berre, Pierre Thierry and Thibault Guernalec leave their native Brittany to join our Vendée-based team.

With these three complementary profiles, Team TotalEnergies finalises its 2026 roster. Their arrival has been designed to strengthen key areas and build on the team’s positive momentum.

Three riders capable of bringing the calm confidence that defines them, while also embracing the opportunity to grow within the structure and contribute to the team’s collective progression.

Mathis Le Berre

“I’m leaving a team affected by a difficult situation, and I’m grateful to be able to continue my career within the historic French outfit that is Team TotalEnergies.
My thoughts go out to those left on the sidelines in these challenging circumstances we all know about.
A brand-new adventure now awaits me, with new teammates and a new approach to performance. I’m eager to improve and show what I’m capable of under my new colours. Roll on January!”

At 24 years old, the rider from Côtes-d’Armor already knows the professional peloton well. After completing his first Grand Tour this season, he joins the team with the ambition to commit to a long-term project and bring his composure and consistency to the collective.

Pierre Thierry

“Team TotalEnergies is the ideal environment to progress. The team has consistently shown its ability to identify the right profiles and get the best out of them, all while respecting their development pace.
I’m grateful for the trust the management has placed in me, and I hope to become part of this long-term project. It’s up to me now to prove I belong here and that my qualities can help the team grow even stronger. I can’t wait to get started in my new colours.”

At 22, the Morbihan native arrives with the ambition to continue his development. First revealed in the amateur ranks, then hardened through WorldTour races, Pierre will strengthen the team in areas where his freshness and versatility can quickly make an impact.

Thibault Guernalec

“This change of structure marks an important turning point in my career. It’s the first time I’m leaving my native Brittany to join a new team, but the motivation remains the same!
I would have loved to join my teammates in Calp for the training camp; unfortunately, my accident will affect the start of my season. I want to thank the medical staff and coaches at Team TotalEnergies for their support during this difficult period. I’m determined to return to my best level as soon as possible.”

Following his accident, Thibault will miss the winter preparation, though this does not alter the role he is expected to play. A strong time trialist with valuable experience, he will bring added strength to individual time trials, and his eight seasons in the pro ranks will be invaluable in supporting the team’s younger riders.

With Mathis, Pierre and Thibault, Team TotalEnergies welcomes three promising and experienced riders, united by strong human values and specific roles within the collective. Their arrival completes a 28-man roster built with ambition.

Welcome, gentlemen!
